Teeming Compounds

As effective additives, teeming compounds are required for casting of metal slabs and ingots. Application of these compounds during metal casting promotes rapid production of slag that remains directly in contact with metal surface for producing ingots. With the upward movement of the slag, it tends to absorb all sorts of impurities from cast metal. By lubricating heated cast metal and ingot mold, teeming compounds also improve surface quality of ingots. Moreover, these compounds help to form a protective insulation layer on ingots to avoid heat loss and also to maintain homogeneous temperature of ingots.
